Full details of visa and permit requirements, advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying, and reporting requirements are available through the New Zealand Immigration Service, and can be viewed on their website at www.immigration.govt.nz.

It is very important to complete all the New Zealand Immigration Service requirements to enable you to enter the country and study here.

 

Working In New Zealand on a Student Visa

There are no current work rights for those on the NZ CPL training scheme. However this rule is under review and we hope for a decision restoring the right for international students to work part-time for up to 20 hours per week, while studying in New Zealand on a study visa.
