Our Training Facilities

Our flight training operation is based at 25 Airport Road, Whanganui Airport, Whanganui.

About 100m past the Whanganui Airport terminal, a driveway leads down to our carpark and front entrance.

Our purpose-built facility has an impressive foyer, with TV monitors displaying the day’s flight schedule and footage of our students, looks out across the hangar. Trophy cabinets display awards and memorabilia.

The L-Shaped building wraps around the hangar, capable of hangaring up to fifteen aircraft. To the left is the administration wing with reception/administration office, CEO office and Boardroom, Staffroom and kitchenette.

To the right is the student wing with light and modern study rooms and toilets/ shower facilities. Each student has their own storage locker in the corridor, at the end of which is the student lounge with a fully equipped kitchen, tables, chairs and sofas and a TV monitor displaying the daily flight schedule. Double doors lead to an outdoor seating area and volleyball net.

The secure Operations area is equipped with a workshop with access to the hangar, simulator room and briefing  rooms. The CFI office and Flight Dispatch room overlook the runways.

Our Airport Campus is also a registered venue for exams run by ASPEQ Assessment Services.
