About the New Zealand International Commercial Pilot AcademyOur Mission StatementNew Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy values learners' goals, aspirations and needs foremost, consistently creating the most achievable pathway to a successful aviation career.
This will be achieved by;
We are a provincially-based Pilot Academy with significant experience in training pilots at a range of levels. From private to commercial through to flight instructors, multi engine pilots with full instrument ratings, to pilots preparing for careers with the airlines. We pride ourselves on our record in the training of both New Zealand and International students and our commitment to maintaining a broad cultural base. Our instructors are truly international and all are highly experienced and committed to safety and the success of theory students. Being provincially based helps us to keep our costs down and helps you to do the same with such things as accommodation, food and general living costs.
What drives usBy its nature, the Aviation Industry (in particular the Airline Industry) requires pilots who not only possess good practical skills and knowledge, but who can relate well to people and fit into a team environment in the real world. The aim of all NZICPA's courses and training schemes therefore is to produce pilots that not only possess quality flying skills and qualifications but also demonstrate even handedness in dealing with other people and an ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment. NZICPA serves the Aviation education, business and recreational needs of the Manawatu-Whanganui Region and the wider New Zealand community, and plays an active and growing role in New Zealand’s export education sector through the provision of aviation training services to the international aviation market.
Teaching and LearningNZ International Commercial Pilot Academy recognises the needs of students and the need for the company to:
