Student LoansYou can fund the New Zealand Diploma through the student Loan Scheme - please discuss with us. Note: there is a shortfall between the course pricing and the maximum student loan amount available. More information on the Student Loan Scheme is contained here. Fees-FreeThe Fees-Free eligibilty scheme could potentially subsidise your studies with a reduction of $12,000 from your Student Loan, if applicable. Information at this link: https://www.feesfree.govt.nz/ MedicalThe cost of maintaining a current NZCAA Medical is not part of your course fees and consist of two parts, the Medical examiners fee (Typically from $300 to $600) and the NZCAA fee ($120.75). Travel CostsTravel to and from the training is at the student's cost. If you are a long term student you may wish to purchase a car as this increases your flexibility. The Academy runs three 12-seater Ford Transit vans which can be used to ferry students between the Academy and its student accommodation in central Whanganui.
